10 Minute Plays with Rich Madzel

Join our guest, Rich Madzel, to discuss the ten-minute play, which is a common genre for festivals and learning how to become a playwright.
A 10-minute play reading, including a critique, will be followed by the group writing the outline for a play.

Someone in the group will volunteer (or be volunteered) to write the play, which will be presented as part of the June 15 Try It Out Theatre event!

About the Speaker

Rich Madzel is the founder and producer of Try It Out Theatre in Columbia, a company focused on script-in-hand reading of short plays. He also writes, sometimes reads/acts, and directs.

HoCo continues to collect new or gently-used books for HopeWorks. (The Howard County Domestic Violence Center.) All genres and age groups are needed, but due to the nature of their services, they request that the books contain no mention of violence against women or children.
