Topic: Making the Most of Critique Groups
Joya Fields will discuss the nature of writers' critique groups, how positive feedback from fellow writers can help produce saleable submissions, how to find and form critique groups and the qualities necessary in critiquing partners. Joya has published over a hundred articles and short stories and has just completed her third romantic suspense novel, "Close to Nothing." She has won both national and regional writing contests. She has held her position as Critique Group Coordinator at MWA for two years, helping to increase organized critique groups from eight to more than twenty.
